Week 9 Principal's News 27/3/26

Art Exhibition 🖼️

Please come along next week and check out the amazing art that has been produced as part of our Term 1 PBL. We are incredibly proud of all the pieces of art that have been created and the learning that has been behind the process.

Thanks to Miss Youngs for all effort and energy in bringing this to life.

We look forward to seeing you all next week .

Whānau volunteers 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏽‍♂️

As we approach the last week of term, it is timely to acknowledge all our whānau helpers.

Our School Board works tirelessly behind the scenes, overseeing governance, strategic direction, and legal compliance for the school.

Our Parents' Group (known as a PTA in other schools) organises fundraising activities and events for our tamariki. This year, among other events, they are planning the September School Fair.

Our Road Patrol Crew help your children cross the road safely before and after school, managing traffic in all weather conditions.

Our Sports coaches are at the Edgar Centre, The Oval, the turf and other sports locations all around town. They coach and manage teams so our children can play sports.

We have parents coming in to help with our Green Group, reading helpers, library help, school trips, swimming, and more.

If you are interested in helping at our school, in any capacity, I would love to hear from you. It takes a village to make our school the fabulous school that it is.

Visiting KVC

Today, Kristen (DP), Bridget (Kererū Team Leader), and I visited KVC for morning tea and to catch up with our former pupils. We really enjoyed seeing them thriving and happy in their new school environment.

Toby Robin's Values Award ⭐️

Congratulations to the following students, who were recognised yesterday for consistently demonstrating the school values. We are so proud of you all.
