Week 2 news
Thanks to our Parents' Group for their mahi with fundraising and creating opportunities for our children. At our meeting this week, we planned the Term 4 disco and pizza lunch, formed a committee for the 2024 school fair, and organised the raffle for the art exhibition.
The Parents' Group strives to fundraise to help pay for the extras we see in classrooms and playground and the group is vital to the success of our school.
Please consider their requests for donations for the raffle and requests for help for things like the disco and pizza lunch. Their mahi directly impacts all tamariki of Kaikorai School. New members are always welcome to join.
Next week we have some of the Highlanders Rugby team working with the senior school with their High Five Community Health & Wellbeing Programme. This is a continuation of our learning from Term 3 and using the Te Whare tapa whā model.
We also welcome Kirsten Parkinson from DPAG into our kura and are excited about the art she will be creating with all children.
A reminder of our whānau hui for whānau Māori on

Enjoy the long weekend and please remember I am always here to kōrero with you.
