Otago Cavy Club Community Guinea Pig Show
Otago Cavy Club Community Guinea Pig Show, taking place on Sunday, 12 July.
This is a fun, family-friendly community event that brings together people of all ages to enjoy a day filled with guinea pigs, learning, and community spirit. You don't need to own a guinea pig to attend—everyone is welcome, and spectators are encouraged to come along. It's a wonderful opportunity for families to experience something a little different while supporting a local community club.
The Bubble Spectacular, starring Dr Hubble's Bubbles
Enter the bubbly-brilliant world of Dr Hubble, as he presents The Bubble Spectacular – a fun-filled, out-of-this-world, bubble-riffic show!
Expect to be amazed as the ultimate master of bubbles, Dr Hubble, creates little bubbles, BIG bubbles, volcano bubbles, tornado bubbles, square bubbles and with a bit of his bubbly-magic, you might even end up inside a bubble!

These sessions are designed to provide families with a quick, friendly paediatric physiotherapy check-in for children or teens who may benefit from support with movement, motor skills, posture, pain, limping, sensory challenges, or developmental concerns. Roslyn Māori Hill Playcentre
Roslyn Māori Hill Playcentre is a vibrant play and learning space for children aged 0-6 years, with a daily live music session and loads of outdoor activities. Science Festival 🧪
These July school holidays, the NZ International Science Festival has more than 60 events for the whole whānau.
From our exciting Science Train to the busy Festival Hub in the Meridian Mall, there’s plenty to keep the young ones entertained.
For the adults, our popular series of talks covers a range of hot topics as well as exhibitions and science-related arts experiences, including Tāmaki Makaurau-based artist Sione Faletau’s project creating an artwork out of sound data.
Most events are free or pay what you can afford.

We are excited to be running our holiday programme across the two-week school break at King’s High School. While rugby development is our focus, participants can also look forward to fun games, team-building activities, challenges, and prizes throughout the programme.
We are also fortunate to have two special guest players joining us during the holidays. These athletes have competed at some of the highest levels of rugby and will share their knowledge, experiences, and insights with our young players.

Roslyn Pharmacy walk-in clinic 🩺
Our pharmacists can now assess and treat five common childhood conditions for under-14s, on the spot, with no GP appointment needed: head lice, conjunctivitis, vomiting and diarrhoea, scabies, and pain and fever management. Walk in, see one of us, and walk out with a plan and (when clinically appropriate) treatment that's fully funded for under-14s. The consultation itself is $20, or $5 with a Community Services Card.
