Scholastic Book Fair
The school was buzzing on Monday afternoon as whānau came in and shared a Literacy Hour with the children. There was reading, crafts, and a range of other literacy activities happening across the classrooms.
Each day after morning tea, children had the pleasure of welcoming a different teacher into their class to share a story. It was wonderful to see the joy students get from listening to books being read aloud.
Yesterday, we enjoyed a Buddy Class Hour where classes paired up to take part in fun literacy activities together.
To finish off the week, we celebrated with a dress-up day and a parade around the court—everyone looked amazing in their costumes!
Thank you to everyone who supported our Book Fair in the Tui Learning Street. A portion of all sales comes back to our school, helping us purchase new literacy resources for our learners.
