PINK SHIRT DAY is coming up NEXT FRIDAY! 16/5
Pink Shirt Day is all about coming together to spread aroha, honour our differences, and take a stand against bullying in all its forms.
To mark the occasion, we’ll be holding a whole-school assembly that celebrates our KAIK value of ATAWHAI (kindness). The assembly will feature a performance from the drama club.
Classrooms will be engaging in a range of meaningful activities throughout the day, with a focus on kindness, giving, and celebrating diversity.
We’d love to see everyone wearing something pink to show their support and help create a strong visual statement across our kura.
The official Pink Shirt Day t-shirts can be bought from Cotton On stores or online if you'd like to wear one.
Families who would like to support the Pink Shirt Day cause can donate directly via their website. Alternatively, students are welcome to bring a gold coin or small donation to give to their teacher—these contributions will be passed along to the Foundation.
Let's SPEAK UP and STAND TOGETHER to STOP BULLYING on FRIDAY 16 MAY!
He aroha whakatō, he aroha ka puta mai.
If kindness is sown, then kindness you shall receive.
