Kaikorai Primary Athletics Day!

When: Tuesday, the 14th of October (postponement Thursday, the 16th of October)

Where: Caledonian Grounds

Timetable: All children will be bused to the Caledonian at 9:15 a.m., with the first events beginning at 9:50 a.m. Junior children will return to school by bus at 12:30 p.m., and the Seniors and Middles will return at 2:30 p.m. 

Please inform your child's teacher if you intend to take your child directly to the Caledonian or back home. 

While we will try to adhere to a strict timetable, we recognise that some events may start or finish slightly earlier. If you plan to watch a specific event, we suggest allowing for this.

Grouping: As per Otago Athletics requirements, groupings are based on the child's age as of the 1st of October. We have grouped them accordingly.

On Athletics Day, your child will need:

• School top

• Warm clothes

• Sensible sports shoes

• Sun hat

• Sunscreen

• Lunch (No lunch orders online)

• Drink bottle

Postponement: In the event that we can not hold our athletics day due to weather, there will be a Seesaw message sent out on Tuesday morning to inform you that it has been postponed.

$7.00 will be added to your child's account. This contribution will help to offset the cost of the bus hire and venue hire of the Caledonian Ground.
