Principal's news ~week 6

Principal's news ~week 6

What a busy place Kaikorai has been this week. Camp Iona for the Year 6 crew, activity week for the Year 5s, and lots of activities being created for PBL market day and report writing for the teachers.

Class placement for 2023 ✏

Your child's class for 2023 will be in their report. If you are leaving Dunedin or Kaikorai School and have not yet told me, please let me know urgently so we can finalise our class lists. Similarly, if you know someone who intends to come to Kaikorai and has not yet enrolled, please encourage them to do so.

Reports and parent interviews 🗣

Your child's report is being emailed home on Friday, 2nd December. Please ensure your email address is correct in the office! Also, please understand that not all reports will be sent at the exact same time and will be queued and emailed via the Edge Software.

You will be sent the booking link for parent interviews on Monday. It is always beneficial to kōrero about your child's achievement and progress. Please make time to meet with their teacher.

Covid-19 😷

We are still experiencing new positive cases in both staff and students each week. Please keep your child home if they are unwell and RAT test them if they display cold and flu symptoms.
