Kaikorai Primary School Fair 🎟️
The Kaikorai School Fair is held every two years and is our major fundraiser. In 2024, our community raised an incredible $44,000, which helped fund the playground our tamariki love today.
Now, we need your help to make the 2026 Fair just as successful for our KAIK Kids and community. Here is how you can get involved:
Sponsorships: Do you own a business (or know someone who does) that would like to sponsor the event?
Big Prizes: Could you offer a stay at a holiday home or a high-value item for our silent auction?
Donations: Are you having a spring clean? We are collecting clothes, books, toys, sports gear, and knick-knacks at the school storage container.
Raffles: Can your workplace provide products or vouchers for raffle prizes?
Volunteering: Can you spare some time on the day to help run a stall?
This event thrives on our Kaikorai community. If you can help in any way, please get in touch - we need you!

Green Team
One of the many lunchtime groups our tamariki can join is our Green Team. This crew is responsible for the compost bins, tending to the planter boxes, and encouraging their peers to care for our environment. This week, the Green Team had their first harvest! There were bunches of radishes and rainbow chard, which was so exciting. The next vegetable to harvest will be cabbage, which is thriving in the cooler weather.
A huge thanks to Mrs Baker and our amazing parent volunteer, Suz, for sharing their expertise and helping the students bring this garden to life.
