Tūī Hapori News
As we head into the last few days of the year, we have spent a lot more time collaborating and mixing together as a syndicate. Each day this week, we have taken part in some fun activities and challenges. We sang Christmas songs with some actions on Monday. We got some exercise on Tuesday with a walk down to Nairn Street park. There was a variety of games and sports being played, gymnastics, fitness challenges, playground fun, and some time to relax with a book or some drawing under the shade of the trees. On Wednesday we spent time on some arty activities. On Thursday and Friday we had some fun challenges that encouraged team work and creativity.
This term has also been jam-packed with lots of fun and challenging activities. Our day trip to Tirohanga is always a highlight of the year with students demonstrating all of the KAIK values, and showing just how supportive our parent community is. We also had students striving to be their best at our school athletics day. Book Week and the book fair was also a highlight for many students. While we know that our students are ready for a break, we want to acknowledge all of their hard work. They have demonstrated the KAIK values in their own ways, showing determination to achieve their goals, and face challenges.
We would like to say thank you to you for being supportive of your child's learning journey this year. Your support is essential in helping us to provide the best learning experiences. For those of you who are moving on to the Kererū Hapori, we wish you and your children all the best. For those of you who will be back with us in the Tūī Hapori in 2026, we look forward to all the exciting challenges ahead.
We wish you a safe and relaxing break over Christmas and we look forward to catching up with you again in 2026.
