Tūī Hapori News
As Term 1 draws to a close, it has been wonderful to look back on everything we have achieved. It has been an great start to the year, and we are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm our students have brought to their learning.
There is a distinct sense of pride across our syndicate as students recognise their own growth. Whether it is mastering a new task, improving on their handwriting, gaining the confidence to speak publicly, or tackling more challenging reading and spelling, these milestones are significant. We remain committed to the idea that progress is unique to every child, and we celebrate every step of their individual learning journeys.
PBL Art Exhibition
It was wonderful to see so many of you attend our PBL Art Exhibition. Our tamariki put a lot of effort into their creations, and it was a highlight for our teachers to hear them confidently explaining their creative processes to visitors.
The diversity of work across the year groups was truly impressive. Beyond the exhibition itself, our classes spent time exploring the gallery together. This allowed students to appreciate the work of different age groups and reinforced a powerful message: everyone is a capable artist.
Thank you!
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the parents and caregivers who supported our swimming sessions. They were a great success thanks to our dedicated volunteers—we simply could not provide these opportunities without your help. We will be having another block of swimming in Term 3.
Looking Ahead
After a term of hard work, many of our students are understandably ready for a well-deserved break. We wish all our families a safe and relaxing holiday. We look forward to seeing everyone return refreshed and ready for another term of engaging learning.
