💡 Student Leadership Shining Bright
It has been a joy to witness student leadership in action across the school this week. It has been a wet one, so we have had a lot of indoor playtimes and less outdoor physical activity. Our senior students have been busy running activities for our younger tamariki so they can still enjoy their indoor break times and have something to do. I have seen books being read, crafts being made, and games being played. The responsibility, kindness, and patience in these young leaders is so nice to see.
Whānau - Teacher Learning Conversations 🗣️
We're aiming for 100% family attendance at our upcoming learning conversations. These are really important conversations to have with your child's teacher, so please take a moment to book your time slot using the link below:
Bookings will close on SUNDAY 22 JUNE at 5pm

🌧️ Winter Weather Reminders
With the wet and chilly weather well and truly here, a friendly reminder to make sure tamariki are dressed appropriately — warm jackets, named jumpers, and a spare set of clothes if needed can make all the difference. The field is currently closed to preserve the grass and avoid long-term damage, so we’re encouraging students to stick to the courts and paved areas during breaks.
🚗 Drive Safely
We’ve noticed and have had a few concerns raised about the speed of cars and unsafe driving decisions, particularly around the corners leading onto Wright Street from Highgate and Tyne St. Please be mindful of your speed and take extra care at drop-off and pick-up times. Our tamariki’s safety is a shared responsibility, and your caution helps keep everyone safe.
