In light of today's late start and the possibility of the same thing occurring āpōpō (tomorrow), we have revised our Matariki celebrations regardless if it is a late start or not. We have to consider staff that were planning on arriving at 6 am in order to prep kai, and to keep you all safe. Apologies for the inconvenience this may cause.
9am - 10:25am
Children in their normal classes
10:25 - 10:50am

10:50am-11:45am
Whānau group activities (this is buddy class fun activities) PARENT DO NOT NEED TO COME TO THIS PART
11:45am - 12:30pm PARENTS COME TO THIS PART
Shared kai - bacon sandwiches, cereal and milo, tea and coffee served in the hall - all whānau welcome, gold coin donation per person. Whānau groups will be called to the hall for kai. Eating in the learning streets.
12:30pm - 1pm PARENTS CAN STAY
Playtime, whānau welcome to stay on for a cup of tea and enjoy our school.
1pm - 1:45pm PARENTS COME TO THIS PART
Bell goes, roll taken and head to the school hall for the Matariki celebration - kapa haka, poetry, singing and reading.
1:45pm - 2:15pm PARENTS DO NOT NEED TO STAY
Whānau groups (buddy classes) finish activities and tidy up
2:15pm
Back to normal class for the remainder of the day.
