Ko te tumanako me haere tahi tatou’ Let us do this together
Welcome back
I hope you have had a safe, warm and healthy winter break, and your children are ready for another great Kaikorai term of learning.
A special warm welcome to our newest Kaikorai kids - Ada, Tori, Bree, Corin, Nisal, Lucy, Laisenia, Lorna and Peter. We are so happy you are here. ✨
Keeping well at Kaikorai
For Term 3, the Ministries of Health and Education strongly recommend students Year 4 and above wear masks indoors for the next four weeks of term.
We have child and adult size masks at school and we will be asking all senior children to wear a mask when indoors and where practicable (ie not when they are eating).
If there is a reason why your child will not be wearing a mask, please let us know. Otherwise we will assume that your child is able to wear a mask, and we will provide one if they do not have one with them.
If your child displays cold/flu-like symptoms, you will be asked to keep them at home or collect them from school if they arrive unwell. Please notify us if there is Covid-19 in your home or if your child tests positive. We still need to notify the MOE weekly of our case numbers.
You are welcome to come on-site; please continue wearing a mask.
We will continue to be well ventilated in our spaces and use the Co2 monitors in each class.
