Ko tatou anake he mohio. He kanapa tatou ~ Alone we are smart. Together we are brilliant.
I have spent this week in Christchurch being inspired at the annual NZPF conference. One of the most inspirational speakers was a 15-year-old who was a finalist in the Ngā manu kōrero speech competition. He urged us to try and use reo, to take a risk when using Māori, to give it ago. We should not just use reo because of te wiki o te reo Māori, but every day!
