End of term Principal's news

Do you believe in magic? What a night!

I hope you thoroughly enjoyed the production, were proud of all performers and loved the show. Thank you for all your support.

Term 4 focuses on financial literacy.  We also have our scheduled athletics day at the Caledonian, swimming lessons for all syndicates, a camp for the Year 6 crew, an activity week for the Year 5s  and an outdoor ed day for the middles. Very busy all round. As always, do you have an area of expertise in any of those areas? If so, please consider lending us a hand.

We will complete end-of-year assessments, writing reports, and parent interviews, and the leadership team will look at class placements for 2023.

Many thanks to our awesome student teachers, Emma and Sian, who have been at Kaikorai all year and to Nico and Alex who have been here this term. Best wishes for your graduation.

Thanks to Garrand Diedrichs for his mahi in Rūma tekau mā rua these last six weeks and to Nicole Wilson, who is moving on to East Taieri School after filling in for Emma Riley. Thank you for all you have done.

I do hope you have an enjoyable, healthy and happy holiday break and your children get some well-deserved rest.

Please contact me at any time if I can help your child's well-being and learning.

Ngā mihi mahana,

Beth
