Athletics

We were absolutely gutted that the weather didn't play its part last week to allow us to have our school athletics day. Rest assured we are already looking ahead to dates for next year.

Luckily on Tuesday, the weather was quite the contrast and the North Zone Athletics were held on a Dunedin stunner! 25 athletes represented Kaikorai against schools from the North Zone. I'm always so proud to be a Kaikorai teacher but on days like these even more so! The way our athletes always represent our school so well, showing fair play, cheering for all and most of all having fun is such a special thing to see.

We had some amazing results that I look forward to sharing these with you once they are finalised.

Many thanks to Mr Reid, Mrs Cleland and Ms Downie for all their help leading up to and during the day!
