Walk 'n’ Wheel to School Week is coming up and will run from Monday, 27th of February, until Friday, the 3rd of March 2023. Walking or wheeling to school can contribute to daily activity, help reduce the traffic congestion at the school gate and help reduce your carbon footprint. Help us support this fantastic event by supporting your child/children to walk or wheel, even if it’s only once during the week. The more children walk or wheel during the week, the more chances they have of winning a spot prize. Live too far away? Then parking a block or two away is a perfect option for your family. Help us spread the word and provide a safe walking/wheeling environment for our children to get to school, as great prizes are up for grabs!

Move it Monday-27th Friday

Move your way and walk or wheel to school.

Choose it Tuesday

Choose a different way to move to school. Walk, wheel, hop, skip or jump.

Wacky Wednesday - Walk 'n' Wheel Day

Display something bright! Bright shoes, bright clothes, bright socks. Be seen by cars as you walk or wheel to school.

Thoughtful Thursday

Think about your carbon footprint as you walk and wheel your way to school. How many eco-cars can you spot on your way to school?

Foot It Friday 

Put your best foot forward, decorate your shoes, or design your dream shoe.

Move it, March Whānau Challenge.

As part of our school signing up for Move it March, all our families can take part in the Scout Whānau Challenge. Families can sign up at https://bit.ly/whanauchallenge23, and they will be provided with a whānau pack to help complete the challenge. There is limited number of these, so get in quick, as there are some great prizes up for grabs, including $50 Sports Depot voucher, bike helmets, scooters, Moana Pool vouchers and other spot prizes!
