On Pink Shirt Day, Friday 19 May 2023, Aotearoa New Zealand will be transformed into a sea of māwhero/pink as we stand together to spread aroha, celebrate diversity and end bullying!
We will have a whole school assembly to recognise this day and remind students of our KAIK value of being KIND/ATAWHAI. Classrooms will be engaging in anti-bullying and diversity activities throughout the day.
It would be great to see the whole school dressed in pink to support this day. If you would like to purchase the official Pink Shirt Day t-shirt, you can find it at any Cotton On store or online.
If you would like to donate to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, you can do that here.
Alternatively, your child can bring a gold coin or small donation to school and give it to their classroom teacher. All donations will go to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
Let's SPEAK UP and STAND TOGETHER to STOP BULLYING on FRIDAY 19 MAY!
