After four previous attempts, we finally competed in our first cross country competition of the year. 45 Year 4-6 runners competed against the finest from schools across the Hills Cluster.
As always, Kaikorai made a strong representation, not only in placements but also in upholding the KAIK Values. We felt immense pride in witnessing the way our tamariki encouraged their peers, exhibited good sportsmanship, and showcased perseverance and determination on what proved to be a challenging course.
The top 10 runners in the Year 5 & 6 grades have qualified to compete in the Otago Champs scheduled for Friday, the 1st of September.
