Our kapa haka rōpū is practising hard for their performance next Friday afternoon, and we were treated to a dress rehearsal today - wow! We are thrilled to be taking over 120 ākonga to the Edgar Centre. Whaea Ana has been expertly leading and supporting our tamariki, and we are excited about the performance. It will be live-streamed on the PolyFest Facebook page, and we will be live-streaming for our students back at school.
Next week, I'll be attending the New Zealand Principals' Federation Conference. I eagerly anticipate hearing from Pasi Sahlberg, a renowned Finnish educator, scholar, thought leader, and author. I'm looking forward to gaining inspiration from his keynote address. Our fabulous Deputy Principal, Kristen Ferguson, will be your go-to person if you need anything during the week.
