Kaikorai Athletics Day is Back!
The Kaikorai Primary Athletics Day will be held on Tuesday the 31st of October (postponement Monday 13th of November) at the Caledonian Sports Ground. All students will be participating in this event.
Due to increasing hire and transport costs, we will need to charge each child a small fee of $5.
For this event to go ahead we require helpers from 9.15 am - 2.30 pm. Please complete the form attached if you or a family member is available to help:

Athletics Club 2023
We are thrilled to introduce 'Athletics Club' to Kaikorai Primary School.
The Athletics Club is open to Year 4-6 students who wish to try out for the Kaikorai Primary Athletics team, which will compete in the North Zone Championships in November. Athletics Club provides children with the opportunity to practice and improve their skills in various athletic events.
Format:
Each session will focus on a different event, offering children specific skill coaching. Children can join the Athletics Club and concentrate on one specific event or choose to participate in multiple events - the choice is yours!
Location & Time:
Nairn Street Park during school hours, mostly lunch breaks.
Important Information:
While we are hopeful to host our whole school athletics day on the 31st of October, we know that Dunedin weather can be unpredictable. Since our postponement date falls after the North Zone Championships, our athletics team will be selected from participants in our Athletics Club sessions.
