Kia mau ki te tokanga nui a noho - There is no place like home.
Art Exhibition
The last three weeks have been a hive of creativity and artistic flair. The children have been busy working on their art pieces to reflect our community, and the incredible work they have created is something special. It has been exciting to see the different interpretations of stories shared by Whaea Ana, and the use of various art mediums by each class. Congratulations to team Kaikorai for a phenomenal job, and a special shout out to our wonderful teachers and support staff who have dedicated many hours behind the scenes.
Athletics Day
In week 4, we had a fun-filled day in the sun at our school athletics day. After weeks of learning and practising our athletic skills, we finally had the opportunity to put them into action. It was heartwarming to see the big smiles on the children's faces and witness the KAIK Values on display as they embraced new challenges, achieved goals, and encouraged others. It really was an awesome day out!
End of Year Preparation
As we approach the end of the year, we kindly ask you to check at home for any misplaced readers and library books. Normal routines and learning will continue alongside some festive fun. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming events!
As always, thank you for your continued support! We look forward to celebrating a fantastic year of learning over the last few weeks.
