Winter Sports Round-Up: Highlights from the Taieri vs. Town Basketball Tournament and the Metro Rippa Rugby Tournament

Winter Sports

This winter season, 13 teams represented Kaikorai in Basketball, Netball, and Hockey.  All teams had a fantastic season, showing our school values and representing us with pride. We thank our coaches for their time and dedication, as well as parents for transporting and supporting their children. Well done to our Kaik Kids for keeping active and having fun this winter season.

Please ensure sports tops and skirts are washed and returned to Miss Wilson in Room 6.

Taieri vs. Town Basketball Tournament

This week we had a basketball team compete in the two-day Taieri vs. Town tournament.  Kaikorai played exceptionally well, demonstrating outstanding teamwork and sportsmanship.  We secured 5th place and had a great time. Thank you to Dan and Tracy for coaching the team.

Metro Rippa Rugby Tournament

On Wednesday, we had a middle and senior team participate in the Metro Rippa Rugby Day Tournament at Logan Park Turf. The sun was shining, making it a perfect day for the event. Both teams demonstrated commendable sportsmanship and leadership. We appreciate coaches Mark, Sally, Bei, and Jo for their efforts in making the day a success.
