Pink Shirt Day Highlights!

Today marked a wonderful conclusion to our Wellbeing Week.

The school was a sea of pink as students and staff came together to stand against bullying and promote kindness and inclusivity. It was heartening to see so many members of our school community proudly wearing pink, demonstrating their commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

In our Pink Shirt Day assembly today, we came together to speak about the types of bullying and what to do if you are being bullied or see someone being bullied. A special thanks goes out to our incredible Drama Club and Choir. Their passionate performances and powerful messages inspired us all to be upstanders rather than bystanders. Their efforts have been instrumental in spreading awareness about the importance of speaking up and standing together against bullying.

The activities and discussions throughout Wellbeing Week have provided our students with valuable insights and tools to enhance their mental health and well-being. Ending the week with Pink Shirt Day has reinforced these lessons, emphasising the importance of kindness and empathy.

Let's continue to work together to make every day a Pink Shirt Day in spirit, standing up for one another and promoting a culture of respect and kindness.
