What a fantastic close to the summer sports season! This term we have had many Kaik Kids participating in Cricket, Flippa Ball, Futsal, Cross Over Basketball, Tennis and Touch. All teams have had a wonderful season with pleasing results.

The hard work and dedication of our volunteer coaches have been the driving force behind our successful season. We are incredibly grateful for the time and energy you have devoted to our students. Volunteer coaches at primary schools play a crucial role in shaping young athletes, fostering teamwork, and instilling valuable skills that go beyond the field. Thank you for making this season a successful one!

Winter sports begin early next term. We are still on the lookout for a few more Basketball and Netball coaches. Please get in touch if you can help with coaching in the upcoming season.

Otago Primary School Swimming Championships

We had a team of 9 athletes that competed at the Otago Primary School Swimming Championships at Moana Pool on Sunday 7 April. The Otago Swimming Champs competition is very popular and we had some wonderful results.

Our 10 year old relay with Pippa T, Ben H, Abigail J and Dominic O came 3rd in the 50 metre freestyle relay.

Our 9 years and under relay team with Anja H, Hugo S, Genevieve H and Layla T came 4th in the 50 metre freestyle relay.

Pippa T came 1st in the 50 metre breaststroke finals and 4th in the 50 metre backstroke finals.

Genevieve H came 3rd in the 50 metre breaststroke finals.

Anja H came 4th in the 50 metre freestyle finals.

Well done to all of our swimmers. They had a very successful swim meet and represented themselves and our school very well.
