Eid Mubarak! Wishing our Kaikorai Muslim Whānau peace and happiness on this special day.

As we wrap up Week 11 of Term 1, it's incredible to reflect on the journey we've embarked on so far in 2024. The dedication and hard work of our students and our fantastic educators have been remarkable. The emotional growth, the strides in learning, and the bonds formed between students and staff have been a highlight for me. I wish everyone a restful, safe and well-earned break.

EduLead

Principals across New Zealand are fortunate to have provisions in our current collective agreements that allocate funds specifically for principal leadership and development. Last week, I had the privilege of attending the World EduLead Congress and subsequent MasterClasses in Singapore alongside a thousand other tumuaki and kaiako from Asia, Australia and NZ.

Participating in the conversation about the advancements in AI, which we can harness to facilitate progress and promote equity for all learners, was a highlight for me. I look forward to continuing this learning with our team next term.
