Tē tōia, tē haumatia -Nothing can be achieved without a plan, workforce and way of doing things
Thanks to our amazing staff, we've had a successful term with Polyfest, the School Fair, and strong numeracy and literacy programmes, all while navigating the challenges of teaching.
I'm sure you'll agree that our wonderful teachers and support staff have truly earned a well-deserved break.
We’re excited for a sunny and warm Term 4, packed with great activities! We have Athletics Day, numerous class assemblies where our tamariki can shine in front of an audience, and of course, the opening of our stunning new playground. Other highlights include the Tūī Hapori day camp, swimming for the Kererū Hapori, our Jump Jam team heading to nationals in Christchurch, Year 6 camp, and Year 5 activity week—just a few of the epic events lined up for our Kaik kids.
Staffing news
Farewell to Mr Mark Pickering. We extend our best wishes to Mark as he embarks on the next chapter of his career. His dedication to the tamariki of Kaikorai and the positive impact he has had on so many Kaik kids will be remembered fondly. Mark has brought a lot of fun and energy to our team, and we are confident he will be a valuable asset to his new community. Go well, Mark.
We wish Miss Nicole Wilson all the very best as she begins her maternity leave today. We’re excited to hear the wonderful news of the arrival of her pēpi and look forward to celebrating with her in the future.
