Created by Australian LEGO® Masters Jackson Harvey and Alex Towler, RELICS offers visitors the chance to experience LEGO® like never before—we’re lucky to be hosting this blockbuster exhibition right here in Dunedin!
To kick the exhibition off with a bang on 30 November, we’re putting on an opening day filled with free LEGO® workshops, crafts, movie screenings, bingo, and heaps more. You might even have the chance to meet Jackson and Alex!

The Globe Theatre is staging William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night (or What You Will) from Nov 28 to Dec 7.
About the show
The Globe Theatre Dunedin’s final production of 2024 is a fresh adaptation of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night (or What You Will), directed by Brent Caldwell. Set in North Dunedin during the early 1980s, this reimagined version brings Shakespeare’s iconic love triangles, mistaken identities, and witty deception to the University of Otago campus. Viola’s journey of disguise and self-discovery, set against the backdrop of the Dunedin Sound, adds a new layer of energy and local flavour to this classic, music-infused comedy.
Drawing on Shakespeare's rich history of adapting stories from antiquity, this version of Twelfth Night (or What You Will) captures the same timeless themes of love, humour, and human complexity but with a unique Dunedin twist. Featuring a local cast and live music that will include Flying Nun classics, this production promises recognisable characters, surprises, laughter, and familiar tunes.
Don’t miss this playful collision of Shakespearean mischief and Dunedin spirit where anything could happen!

This Christmas, we aim to spread joy by expanding our annual tradition of community support. Last year, we successfully delivered over 100 boxes filled with holiday treats and essential pantry items to a Dunedin charity, ensuring those in need felt the warmth of the season. This year, we’re raising our ambition, striving to assemble and distribute two hundred boxes to make an even greater impact.
However, we can’t achieve this goal without the community’s support. We invite you to join this meaningful initiative by contributing items as outlined in the attached guide.
Donations can be dropped off at our office at 63 Musselburgh Rise, where we will gladly organise and pack them on your behalf.
Your generosity, whether it’s a single item or more, will bring joy and smiles to many faces this holiday season. Thank you in advance for your kind support.

Presbyterian Support Otago
We are reaching out to ask that you help Presbyterian Support Otago (PSO) to make positive changes to those in need across all parts of Otago. Together, we can make this season a little brighter and bring lasting change to those who need it most.
For many in our community, Christmas is a time of both joy and struggle, given the increased financial demands and economic adversity that we all feel. The holidays and beyond can be incredibly challenging.
With Christmas approaching, we want to share with you how you can help us provide this support to more families, to help people have a joyful celebration.
You Can Make an Impact This Christmas
Your support this Christmas will stay local and go directly toward helping families in ways that make a lasting difference.
Financial Gift: Your support will play a crucial role in ensuring a brighter future for families and individuals in need. Donations will be used to provide food for Christmas and/or community support programmes for families, rangatahi and tamariki well into the new year. You can choose what to donate towards.
Please donate towards our programmes at psotago.org.nz/donate
Vouchers: Donating vouchers for supermarkets and department stores (eg The Warehouse) will be extremely useful for families so they are able to make a choice on items they most need. Vouchers for experiences will enable us to provide families with the means to take part in a family activity during the holiday season. These can be dropped into our Family Works office at 407 Moray Place, Dunedin, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. Note: there is a 5-minute park right outside.
Food Supplies: Donations of canned goods, dry food products, and Christmas treats will help us create holiday food baskets for families. These can be dropped into our foodbank at 407 Moray Place, Dunedin, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. Note: there is a 5-minute park right outside.
Movies for Teens: Teens are often the ones who miss out when finances are challenging. To purchase a ticket for a teen please donate using the link below - every $10 donation will provide movie ticket! Donate at psotago.org.nz/moviesforteens/
We wish you and your family a joy filled Christmas this year and we sincerely thank you for your support of our community.
