He waka eke noa - We're all in this together
Day trip to Tirohanga
It is with immense pride that we reflect on our yearly trip to Tirohanga Camp. This trip provided many opportunities for our tamariki to demonstrate our KAIK values - kind, aspiring, independent, and keen. Through activities such as the bush walk, the confidence course, and the bouldering wall, our tamariki demonstrated exceptional teamwork, enthusiasm, and determination. Hearing the excitement and pride in the voices of our year 4s finding success in something that was a challenge for them as year 3s was a highlight. This also led to words of encouragement to our year 3s this year, as they shared their strategies for success.
Back in the classroom, we have been talking and writing about our experiences this year. Hearing students share their experiences of success in the different challenges is always a highlight. We look forward to sharing these with you soon.
We would once again like to say thank you to our parent helpers whose support and dedication were instrumental in making the day a resounding success. Your involvement and assistance are much appreciated by the Tūī Hapori team, and we acknowledge the crucial role you played in creating a memorable experience for our students.
Aotearoa Teachers’ Day
In recognition of Aotearoa Teachers’ Day, I would like to acknowledge the kaiako in Tūī Hapori. Each day, you create a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity and a love for learning. Your ability to inspire and motivate our students is truly remarkable. You consistently go above and beyond, both in the classroom and behind the scenes in order to create the best learning environment for our tamariki.
He whetu koutou katoa!
