Swimming begins on Wednesday and runs for 8 days.
Please make sure that you have labelled all your child's swimming gear and clothing including underwear. You would be surprised at what gets left behind. Children need togs, towel, goggles and a swimming cap and all girls need their hair tied up. As Room 11 are the first class to swim they need to be on the bus AT 9.00 no later. Please make sure your child arrives at school well before 9.00 so they can be on the bus.
Our big focus for the next 2 weeks is to be learning all about the music The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint Saens. You could share by looking up this music on You tube and sharing this fun music with your child. During this unit we will also learn about the different instruments of the orchestra and how an orchestra works together to play this amazing music.
A number of our families are dropping children at school well before 8.30. As it is getting cooler in the mornings please make sure your child is warmly clad and isn't here too early because they need to wait until the 8.30 bell goes before entering school.
With it being a winter term all children need to have a waterproof coat at school each day and suitable shoes to play outside in. Sunhats can now go home to be washed and ready for term 4.
