A change from Fun Friday to Make it Mondays starts next week.
In Term 1 we decided to trial Move it Mondays and focus on Junior sports activities. Now we are into Term 2 we are starting next week with Make it Mondays with more of a craft based theme. From 1:30 to 2.45 we will be doing a 6 week rotation doing a variety of activities in each class. The children will be grouped across the syndicate and will get to do a different activity each week with a different teacher.
Some teachers will need help so please consider coming along to sew, bake or make crafts. Not every teacher needs help so we will ask you to help in a room that needs support not necessarily the room your child is in.
PMP starts next week and will run for the next 4 weeks. Every room urgently needs help to run each session so please offer to help. Please see your class teacher to clarify times. Room 8's time has changed to 2.10 every Tuesday.
Swimming has 3 days to go. It has gone really smoothly and the children have made wonderful progress thanks to small groups and great swimming tutors. Thank you to parents who have come and helped each day it makes such a difference to our turn around times.
A few parents have mentioned swimming in Term 2 as a negative. Usually we swim late in Term 1 but unfortunately we were unable to secure a booking in late March / April. There is very little difference in the weather either time. Other than the first 2 days thankfully the weather has been kind to us. We are lucky to come back to lovely warm rooms at school something we don't have in Term 1. We still plan to book a session in Term 4.
