Term 3 Art Gallery visit and Term 4 Tirohanga trip
Each class in the middle syndicate will visit the art gallery this term. Children will need to wear their school top and have a packed lunch and drink bottle on this day.
Room 3 : Thursday 17 August 10:15 - 12:15
Room 6: Wednesday 13 September 10:15- 12:15
Room 5: Wednesday 13 September 12:15- 2:15
As a part of our Education Outside The Classroom (EOTC), classes in the middle syndicate will be having an overnight trip at Tirohanga Camp in Week 1 of Term 4. This will give us many opportunities to demonstrate the school values and give us plenty of real life learning opportunities across the curriculum.
This year to balance the numbers in each group, Room 3 will be split in half. The Year 4 girls and Year 3 boys (Group A) will be with Room 5 and the Year 3 girls and Year 4 boys (Group B) will be with Room 6.

Rooms 5 and Group A Wednesday 18th October- Thursday 19th October
Rooms 6 and Group B Thursday 19th October- Friday 20th October
Please note that this is Week 1 of Term 4.
Parent Help
We will need parent help and are fortunate to be able to take a large number of parents with us. We would like each group to have at least 8 parents.
Cost
The cost of this camp should be no more than $40.
Further notices will be sent home via e-mail throughout this term. The official permission slip will be sent home as a paper notice.
We will be holding an information meeting in Room 3 at 6pm on Wednesday 23rd August (This term). It is especially important that you attend this meeting if you are wishing to come with us.
