Otago Cricket Coaches have been in our school taking three sessions with each class, developing the cricket skills, and encouraging enjoyment and participation in cricket and modified games.
We are half way through our summer sports competitions and we thank again the parents who are running this for us. We have fourteen Futsal teams, five touch teams, 2 flippaball teams and two T ball teams. That is a lot of children enjoying sport and a lot of parents supporting them. Thank you!
The North Zone Athletic sports were held on the 1st November at the Caledonian. Our athletes gave up a good number of lunch times to train hard for this event and we were very impressed with the commitment they made to their relay teams. Kaikorai performed well and we have 22 children competing in the Otago Champs on Monday 21st November.
Relay teams, long jumpers, discus throwers, sprinters and 800m runners will represent Kaikorai primary. Good luck everyone.
