Welcome Back!

By Simon Clarke | Posted: Wednesday February 1, 2017

The holidays are a special time for families and we hope that you all had a chance to spend time with friends and families, a chance to relax and maybe even find some sun!

2017 will be yet another busy year with major events such as our Mini Society back in Term 2 and we will making a movie as this years production.  This term our major focus is on our school value of kindness.  Children will be investigating the importance of being kind to the environment or ...

Today we not only welcome back the students but also our two new teachers.  Felicia Ward, who will be teaching in Room 10 and Ryan Inglis who is teaching in Room 2A.

Our teaching staff have been busy in the past few days and weeks to prepare for the students arrival and we hope that your child quickly slips back into the routines of school. A stress free start to a child's day can help a huge amount with their learning. Make sure your child is getting plenty of sleep and taking responsibility for getting themselves organised for the school day.

There are a multitude of ways that you can contribute to our school to not only make your child's life better but all of the children in the school.  We need a multitude of volunteers to run the many programmes we offer - parent reading, PMP, sports coaching, road patrol and walking school bus to name just a few.  If you are not sure who to make contact with to find out more please feel free to contact the school office or myself.

Kind regards

Simon Clarke
