Reports will be sent home today with interviews being conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday 4th and 5th of July
We have had a small change to our report format. Much like a doctors Hippocratic Oath, teachers also think first, "do no harm." We are concerned about the negative impact that being told that you are below or well below the standard can have on a child's confidence and attitude towards learning. It is an established fact that not all children learn at the same speed or with the same ability.
We have decided to remove the National Standard results from the main part of the report and replace it with a child's self reflection. By law we must include National Standard results and these will be supplied on a separate page. It is entirely up to you whether you share these results with your child.
