Pink Shirt Day

By Simon Clarke | Posted: Monday May 22, 2017

It is Bullying Free NZ week and Pink Shirt Day on Friday is the culmination of activities held in this week.  Kaikorai Primary School will be taking part in Pink Shirt Day this Friday to help raise money for Chatbus.

Children are encouraged to wear a pink shirt or have crazy hair this Friday in recognition of this week.  A gold coin donation can be sent along with your child to support Chatbus which is an invaluable service that we provide for our students.

Like all schools, we do experience bullying from time to time and Chatbus has provided excellent support to both the bullies and the bullied.  They are a non profit organisation who relies heavily on the support of the wider community.

We hope that you are able to support this event.
