Cats vs the Daggers

Green Island had a strong team but Cats showed great strength in their defence.

We were missing Felix, who was being fed up on ice-cream after having his tonsils out. The Kaikorai Cats played well with some excellent positional play and defence.

At least 3 time, we saw Manu stop certain goals by putting himself between the ball and the goal on defence.

Mason and Charlotte preformed valiantly in goals for the entire half each time and then mixed it up when it was their turn to run.

Mackenzie was inches away from a run away goal that saw the sideline of loyal Cat supporters come to life with cheers while Cole and Thomas took the MVP and Merit awards. 

Still improving and for a gaggle of 5 year old cuties, I think we're doing alright!

Practice is on Friday 12:30 weather permitting.
