On the 5 of April Room 1 went to the art gallery trip.  It was a hard walk but we made it there on time. We stopped at the front of the doors and then everybody had a snack AND MR HARTLEY'S SHOE BROKE.

When we got told to go into the art gallery we all got up then Mr Hartley got us to sit on the seats and he took a photo. We were led upstairs and then we saw Room 2a. We took our bags off and then John took us to the Japanese room. It was full of art that had no shadows and then John told us that the Simpsons was inspired by Japanese prints.

One of my favourite artworks was a illusion piece of art where on one side it looked like white on overlapping the black but on the other side black was overlapping the white.

After we had walked around and looked at the art on the wall we did our own work we got some stencils and trace around with pencil and sharpie and then we used a paint brush and used ink to color in the stancils and background.
