A fundraising sausage sizzle will be held on Friday 11 May to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch. Sausages are $2 each and can be paid on the day. No money, no sausage. We will have vegetarian and gluten options available. Please fill out the form if this applies to your child.
As you may well be aware, one of our students, Toby Robins, has been going through treatment for a rare form of cancer. His prognosis is good but it has been a very tough time for Toby and his family.
One of the things that have made this stressful time for the family more manageable has been the amazing support from the Ronald McDonald House.
We understand that for some people they find the link between a fast food chain and health care controversial, but until a different solution can be found to support families in need then this is the best system that we have.
The school will be running a sausage sizzle on Friday and we also encourage children to wear a wacky wig or clothes for an additional $1 donation. We hope that you will be supportive of Toby, his family and the Ronald McDonald House during this week.
