Over the last few weeks winter sports have been wrapping up and we are now beginning to think ahead to summer sports for Term 4.
We have had a very successful winter sports season with some fantastic results in netball, hockey and basketball. We have loved watching everyone play and have noticed significant improvements as the season has gone by. We hope to see lots of children continuing with these sports again next season.
A big thank you to our wonderful coaches and parent helpers. We really appreciate all you do for sport at Kaikorai Primary.
On the 7th of August we had the Hills Cross Country for Year 4-6 students. We were really impressed with the determination and hard work the children put into training and competing on the day. A special mention to Luke Milburn, Rhys Beattie, Nout Van Broekhoven, Cormac de la Harpe & Anabelle Batchelor who were all placed in the top 3. An awesome achievement! The Year 5 & 6 children who placed in the top 10 will go on to represent our school in the Otago Primary School Cross Country held on the 14th of September. These children will receive more information in the coming weeks. We wish them all the best!
Stay tuned for summer sports sign ups in the next few weeks.
