Wishing all the children and their families a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. This front picture is from the Year 6 camp, goodbye and good luckYear 6s!
First we would like to take this opportunity to wish our Year 6 leaves the best of luck and an amazing intermediate experience. Please don't be strangers. Come back and let us know what you have been up to over the next coming years. Many will be going to Balmacewen and have visited the school on a number of occasions for a smooth transition. The leavers assembly was a great success of singing, music and speeches.
The seniors have finished their swimming lessons and have learned heaps. We have had great feedback for the swim school and the children got an extra 30 minutes to play in the pool. It was great to see some epic diving off the boards, and the odd bomb.
The middles and Year 5 children got to meet their new teacher for 2019 on Thursday. It has been wonderful to have so many children so obviously excited about their new class. The teachers are also excited about the new groups and the learning for next year.
So classes are cleaned, students are tired and their brains well in need of a rest. Please have a wonderful holiday and let's all hope for some proper summer weather.
Merry Christmas.
