Kaikorai School 150th Reunion

By Simon Clarke | Posted: Sunday February 3, 2019

Thank you for registering your expression of interest!

150 years ago Kaikorai School was officially opened and we look forward to celebrating this significant milestone with you on Labour Weekend, 2019.

Thank you to Kelly Mcknight and Jim Shanks who have agreed to be on the organising committee.  If you are interested in joining this committee please send me an email or contact the school on 4640065.

We are starting to organise an exciting weekend and I have co-opted my brother, Dr Stephen Clarke, to write the updated history of the school and produce a professionally created book that will be available for purchase.  https://www.bookdepository.com/After-War-Stephen-Clarke/9780143574057

During the holidays former student, Lindsay Gardner, who attended in the 1940's, dropped off a treasure trove of old historical documents associated with the school including the official school song and the 100th anniversary programme.  Unfortunately we have had to increase prices from 1969.

If you have any old photos or historical documents please keep them and we will let you know in the near future our plans for them.

The most important thing you can do now is to network with your friends and family who attended Kaikorai School and ask them to register their interest at this address.    http://bit.ly/kaik150

We look forward to keeping you up to date with more information about the 150 reunion in the near future.

Kind regards

Simon Clarke

Principal
