Otago Swimming Championships

On Saturday the 6 April the Otago Primary School Swimming Championships were held. To be selected for this event children had to swim faster than the qualifying time for their age group.

We are extremely proud of our competitors for representing our school with such pride, determination and sportsmanship. It is an awesome achievement to qualify for this competition and compete against all the top swimmers in the Otago region.

We were excited to see many of our competitors swim personal bests. A special mention must go to our 9 and under relay team, Sophie Wellington, Jacob Potiki-Tagg, Henry Hodgson and Brooke Beaman who were placed 6th. A fabulous achievement.

A big thank you to parents who transported and organised the children on the day. We are very grateful for your support.
