What an exciting event to be a part of!
On Thursday, 12 of our strongest mathematicians took part in Dunedin's O'Mathalon which is an event designed to challenge the strongest of maths brains throughout our region.
Each team of 4 is given 20 questions (2 at a time) and they have to run 40metres to their marker to check if they have the question correct or not.
The Year 5 team of Lee, Luke, Sam and Henry placed 2nd - a huge achievement!
The Year 6 team of Ayako, Charlotte, Oliver and Jordan came 4th .
Massive congratulations goes to Dominic, William, Conor and Johnny who took out the first place and received a FX-82 calculator for their prize!
Congratulations to all of our teams! We are incredibly proud of you all.

PS - Congratulations to Kaikorai former students Ted Finney-Waters, Matthew Bolter and James Hulyer who won the Year 9 competition for OBHS.
