Please read the following information carefully as some times and locations have changed from the original information.

It will be an action packed weekend at Kaikorai Primary School over Labour Weekend 2019.

The reunion will start with registrations and class visits for former students and staff on Friday the 25th of October starting at 11:00am-12:30 and 1:30-3pm.  Classes will be turning their rooms into a museum based upon recent trips to Toitu to explain parts of the schools 150 history.

In the evening, starting at 6:30 in the Colin Smith Memorial Hall (School Hall), drinks and nibbles will be served at our mix and mingle. The school choir and orchestra will be performing from 7pm including the first rendition for many a year of the historic school song.

On Saturday the 26th our registration desk will open at 12pm at the school office and an official opening at 1pm. This will consist of opening speeches from the Board of Trustees and Principal, cutting of the cake with our oldest former student and youngest student and a performance from our school kapa haka including our new song and haka.  Decade photos will take place from 1:45pm.

The reunion will conclude with the reunion dinner at 7pm in the Harbour View Room at the Edgar Centre. The menu looks delicious and the guest will be entertained with stories from the part from our panel discussion and from Dr Stephen Clarke, the author of our reunion book "Looking Back, Moving Forward 1869-2019.

The reunion book is about to be sent to the printers and will be ready for the reunion.  It is a fascinating read and can be purchased for $25.

We encourage groups of friends and family to make their own plans to reconnect again on the Sunday morning.

Please feel free to forward this email for anyone who may be interested in registering. www.kaikorai150.co.nz to register.
