We cannot believe how fast time is flying. Three weeks left and we have lots of fun activities to pack in.
On Friday we spent the morning at ‘Percy’s Fun Day’ at Forsyth Barr Stadium. This event is run by Sport Otago together with students from various high schools across Dunedin. The children practise a range of throwing, catching and coordination skills through fun game based activities. You could see by the huge smiles on the faces of the children that they absolutely loved their morning out with Percy!
Next week will be the last week of reading for most classes. However, you can still expect the occasional book and some poems to come home. We ask that all readers are returned in the next few weeks. Please have a good look at home for any that may have been misplaced.
As Christmas is fast approaching we will begin our craft swap. Each class will get to spend a morning with another junior class teacher and create a Christmas craft to bring home.
Teachers are currently working hard on reports. These will come home in Week 9. We encourage you to take the time to read these as a lot of thought and hard work has gone into them.
