Kia ora Room 1 Whānau, A few end of term reminders:
Swimming
We have two more Monday swimming sessions. In our final session on Monday of Week 9, we are able to have 30 minutes in the wave pool prior to our lesson time so we will be leaving school at the earlier time of 10 am. In order to cover safety ratios, we must have 4 adults on the side of the water. If you initially indicated that you can help on that date and no longer are able to - please let me know. Assuming it is going to be a sunny Dunedin day, we aim to have our lunch at Roberts Park afterward and take some sports gear down with us. So we won't be returning to school until 1 pm. Please let me know if you can help.
Year 6 Balmac visit tomorrow
We are leaving school at 12:55 pm and will return for the end of the day. School tops to be worn, please. Year 5 and Year 6 who are going to other schools will be in R2/4 for the afternoon.
Year 6 leavers assembly - Year 5 helpers!
I urgently require some Year 5 parents to help with the cups of tea and sorting of the supper for after the prize giving. It is a very simple task on the last Wednesday of term - 11th December. From 5:30-7 pm (at the latest). Next year the Year 5 parents will help with your child's year 6 leavers assembly. Thanks in advance for the offers of help.
Please send through your Year 6 child's photo of their first day of school or 5-year-old photo. The sooner we have these the better in order for us to sort out the digital display so please have these sent through by the end of next week. Thanks so much for the lovely pics that have already been emailed through.
As always, thanks for your ongoing support.
Ngā mihi
