Year 5 activity week

March 24-26th 2020

Kia ora Year 5 Whānau and parents of Year 4 children in Room 4.

As you know Year 5 activity week is approaching and this coincides with the Year 6 camp.

The activities will be led by Miss Hardie, Miss Matravers, and Mrs. Kernaghan. 

Monday 23rd March - Otago Anniversary Day - school closed

Tuesday 24th March - Walking the Pineapple Track, departing school at 9:30am. Travel by bus to the Bull Ring and walk to the end of the track and have a picnic lunch.

Wednesday 25th March - Departing school at 9:30am, travel by bus to visit the Otago Museum, Tūhura Science centre, and tropical forest. 

Thursday 26th March - Walk to Moana Pool, departing school at 9:30am. We will be using the wave pool and the hydroslide with a BBQ lunch.

Friday 27th March - Teacher only day, the school closed.

The cost for the activity week is set at $10 per student and is to be paid at the office. The activity week is kindly subsided by our Parent Group 

As you know, these activities will not be able to go ahead without your support and help. We will send out an electronic form requesting parent help early next week, but please diarise these dates if you can help!
