Monday 11 May - Prime Minister's announcement on Levels
The mix of distance learning and a small number of children attending school continues to go well. We continue to have a high percentage of children attend the Google Meets each day and families are doing a range of structured and unstructured learning programmes.
Next week marks the sixth week of lockdown and although sign look positive for a move to Level 2 which would mean that school will fully open we want to introduce another option to your child.
We have found that whole-class teaching via video conferencing is very hard for some students and for the teacher. From Monday the 4th of May until we move to Level 2, children who need assistance with their learning can book a 15 minute, 1:1 time with their teacher. This is not a time for a general talk with their teacher but a time that they can receive some additional help with something they want to learn about or are struggling with. It is also not designed as a parent-teacher interview and if you are having issues please make contact with your class teacher in the normal way.

Teachers have been and will continue to stay on after their Google Meet for children who want to have a general chat about what they have been doing and asking any technical questions to make things work.
NB-You may need to be logged into your child google account for it to work.
Our children are living through a historic time and we would like to capture what they have been doing. We will be making a special KPSTV episode over the next two weeks and would like your videos of what your child has been doing.
