Our Project Based Learning for Term 3 is officially completed. All the kids have worked so hard to complete their final product and it was amazing to be able to celebrate these with you all last week.
The exhibition held in the Dunedin Community Gallery was a huge success with work from each class being showcased. The Hospital community was amazed at the innovative ideas the kids were able to come up with and are even talking about changing some of their planning to include these. One idea included adding a holographic screen in the walls to make the patients feel at ease when visiting the hospital. We are very proud of the students who represented Kaikorai School down at the gallery, they showed confidence and initiative when showing the public around the gallery.
It was nice to finally be able to invite parents back into the classrooms to celebrate the hard-working that has been happening. The classes loved being able to share their work and get feedback from family. We hope you learned a lot about how Project Based Learning works and about the new hospital rebuild!
